Isaac Sokol is a director shaped by motion; across landscapes, systems, and people. He cut his teeth making ski and surf films, learning how to chase momentum, light, and fleeting moments in uncontrolled environments. That early hands-on education gave him a physical intuition for pacing and presence that still defines his work.

A road warrior, Isaac thrives on movement and exploration, finding story in the spaces in between. His films often explore the tension between freedom and structure, individuality and systems, blending kinetic visuals with a restrained, thoughtful approach to storytelling. He favors clarity over excess, trusting rhythm, performance, and composition to carry the weight. When he’s not on set or the open road, Isaac can be found having a burger and martini at the Manchester or cooking chicken (strictly thigh meat) for a dinner party.
